This specimen was lot 31844 in Heritage sale 3029 (New York, January 2014), where it sold for $170.38. The catalog description[1] noted, "Oscar II 10 Ore 1897-EB, MS66 NGC. A bright silver gem with speckled patination. Ex: 'Colonel' E.H.R. Green; Green Estate' Partnership of Eric P Newman / B.G. Johnson." This type is listed for 1880-1904 and this date is rather scarce.

Recorded mintage: 819,000.

Specification: 1.45 g, 0.400 fine silver, 0.018 troy oz ASW.
