This specimen was lot 31830 in Heritage sale 3029 (New York, January 2014), where it sold for $367.78. The catalog description[1] noted, "Oscar II Proof Ore 1897, PF65 Brown NGC. An appealing example with glossy fields and light handling." This type was minted 1879-1905 and this date is very common. The SCWC mentions no proofs.

Recorded mintage: 2,544,000.

Specification: 2 g, bronze, 16 mm diameter.
