This type is listed for 1874, 1880-85, 1889-90, 1896-1905 and this date is common. This specimen was lot 24981 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2018), where it sold for $660. The catalog description^[1] noted, "SWEDEN. 25 Ore, 1897-EB. NGC PROOF-67 ULTRA CAMEO. An incredible superb gem with hard mirror fields and frosted cameo devices. Brilliant and highly attractive."

Recorded mintage: 1,097,000.
