This specimen was part of lot 32636 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), which sold for $2,640. The catalog description[1] noted, "Five-Piece People's Republic gold Panda Proof Set 1986. Includes 5 to 100 Yuan. A nice collection of glossy and highly lustrous Pandas accompanied by a very nice custom wooden box and original capsules. AGW 1.899 oz." This twenty-five yuan is accompanied by five yuan (KM 131), 10 yuan (KM 132), 50 yuan (KM 134) and 100 yuan (KM 135). Proofs should be marked with a "P".

Recorded mintage: 42,229 + 10,000 proofs.

Specification: 7.78 g, .999 fine gold.
