This specimen was lot 26623 in Heritage sale 3026 (Long Beach, October 2013), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "João Prince Regent 960 Reis 1811-B, AU, handsomely toned in a medium gray. Few abrasions of note are visible on the surfaces." This type was struck 1810-18 on pesos from all over Latin America but mostly portrait dollars of Peru and Bolivia. Thousands survive.

Recorded mintage: unknown but common.

Specification: 27.07 g, 0.896 fine silver, 786 troy oz ASW.
