Sincona sale 19, lot 407

This specimen was lot 407 in Sincona sale 19 (Zurich, October 2014), where it sold for CHF 750 (about US$940 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "10 Kopecks 1802, Banking Mint, СПб. AИ. Rare. Very fine." This type is listed for 1802-05 and mentioned as slightly scarcer than preceding or succeeding types.

Recorded mintage: 190,000.

Specification: 2.07 g, .868 fine silver, this specimen 1.99 g.
