This specimen was lot 33558 in Heritage sale 3035 (Long Beach, September 2014), where it sold for $1,527.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Saxony. Johann Georg II Klippe Taler 1678 AU55 NGC, Inaugural Shoot of the new Dresden Shooting Hall, Bust of Johann Georg right/Seven-line inscription, toned in shades of gray with minor flan flaws. An above average example of this scarce issue."
