The first specimen was lot 4266 in Sincona sale 67 (Zurich, October 2020), where it sold for 25 CHF (about US$33 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"IRAN | Qajar Dynasty | Ahmad Shâh, 1327-1344 H./1909-1925 AD, Silver coinage. 2 Qiran 1329 H. Titles and name in wreath, rev. lion and sun above value in wreath, date below. Some weakness in strike, good very fine."
The second specimen was lot 3326 in Stephen Album sale 39 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2021), where it did not sell. The catalog description[2] noted, "IRAN: Ahmad Shah, 1909-1925, AR 2 qiran, Tehran, AH1329, attractive toning, Unc, ex Dabestani Collection."This type was struck AH 1327-1329. It is common.
