Attractive CHOICE UNCIRCULATED."  The type was struck in Santiago, [[Chile]] in 1837-40 ([[Chile 1839-So IJ 8 reales|KM 96.1]]) and 1848-49 (KM 96.2). The attractive condor design, which superseded the famous [[Chile 1817-So FJ peso|volcano peso]], puts this South American crown in high demand.
