Netherlands 1937 10 cents rev AH.jpg

This type, listed for 1926-45, superseded a similar type (KM 145) struck 1910-25 with a different hairstyle for the queen. Silver ten cents were struck in the Netherlands until 1941 and for the government-in-exile at the Denver, San Francisco and Philadelphia mints 1943-45. Postwar issues were in nickel. This type is common but the early dates are scarce nice.

Recorded mintage: 18,600,000 (a common date).

Specification: 1.4 g, .640 fine silver, 15 mm diameter.

Catalog reference: KM 163, Sch-908.
