This specimen was lot 880 in Sincona sale 63 (Zürich, June 2020), where it sold for 700 CHF (about US$877 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"Frankreich, I. Kaiserreich. Napoleon I. 1804-1815. 5 Francs AN 12 (1803-1804) B, Rouen. Sehr selten. Nur 10'189 Exemplare geprägt. Gutes sehr schön. Leicht berieben. Schrötlingsfehler am Rand. (empire of France, Napoleon I. 1804-1815, five francs of the year 12, Rouen mint. Very rare. Only 10'189 pieces struck, Good very fine, Slightly polished, Flan flaw on edge.)"

The Rouen mint struck five francs in year 12 of both the Premier Consul type (F.301/11) and the Empereur type (shown here). The An 12-B Premier Consul is scarce and the An 12-B Empereur is rare.
