This specimen was lot 32085 in Heritage sale 3081 (New York, January 2020), where it sold for $72,000. The catalog description^[1] noted, "Austria: Near-Mint Lustrous Gold Multiple. Ferdinand III gold 10 Ducat 1640 AU Details (Edge Filing) NGC, Prague mint. Obv. Bare head, and armored, bust of Ferdinand III, right, as Holy Roman Emperor. Rev. Crowned double-headed eagle with Prague coat-of-arms, below is the symbol of Jakob W. Wolker, a hand holding a six-pointed star. A broad and impressive selection showcasing lustrous golden fields and an absolute minimum of wear, only mild friction throughout serving as any indication of prior circulation. Attractively detailed due to a clear strike, with even the small ornamentation within Ferdinand's clothing admirably expressed. A fine example of 17th century gold coinage." This type, issued 1638-40, was struck with thaler dies.
