This specimen was lot 3582 in Sincona sale 26 (Zürich, October 2015), where it sold for 80 CHF (about US$99 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"Haakon VII. 1905-1957 1 Krone 1917. Gutes vorzüglich. (kingdom of Norway, Haakon VII, 1905-57, one krone of 1917, good extremely fine.)"

This type is noted for 1908-17 but, despite the steady production, it is rather scarce. It is the last of the denomination struck in silver; its successor of 1925-51 (KM 385) was copper-nickel.

Recorded mintage: 600,000.

Specification: 7.5 g, 0.800 fine silver, .191 troy oz ASW, 31 mm diameter, this specimen 7.50 g.
