This specimen was lot 34116 in Heritage sale 3042 (Long Beach, September 2015), where it sold for $329. The catalog description[1] noted, "Haakon VII 2 Kroner 1915 MS65 NGC. A bright white coin with full mint brilliance. Couldn't be much nicer. Seldom encountered in this state of preservation." This type is noted for 1908-17 but, despite the steady production, it is rather scarce. It is the last of the denomination. The last silver coins struck for circulation were the ten, twenty and fifty øre of 1919.

Recorded mintage: 225,000.

Specification: 15 g, 0.800 fine silver, .383 troy oz ASW, 31 mm diameter.
