This specimen was lot 2856 in Stephen Album sale 45 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2023), where it sold for $192. The catalog description[1] noted, "NORWAY: Haakon VII, 1905-1957, AR 2 kroner, 1914, regular issue, lustrous, NGC graded AU58." This type is noted for 1908-17 but, despite the steady production, it is rather scarce. It is the last of the denomination. The last silver coins struck for circulation were the ten, twenty and fifty øre of 1919.
