This specimen was lot 25416 in Heritage sale 3026 (Long Beach, October 2013), where it sold for $881.25. The catalog description[1] noted, "Haakon VII Krone 1927, MS64 NGC, a choice and fully original example of this scarce date." The silver krone and two kroner were terminated in 1917 and the silver twenty-five and fifty ore in 1919. When coinage of the krone resumed in 1925, it was with this copper-nickel type with a hole. It was struck 1925-27, 1936-40, 1946-51 with the early dates being quite scarce in nice condition.
