Stack's Bowers February 2024 Collector's Choice sale, lot 74873

This specimen was lot 74873 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2024), where it sold for $360. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Trade Tokens. Wales. Anglesey. Copper 1/2 Penny Token, 1790. PCGS MS-64 Red Brown. A beautiful example, displaying much retained mint red, with charming details and alluring luster throughout."
