This specimen was part of lot 23262 in Heritage sale 3010 (Boston, August 2010), which sold for $503.70. The catalog description[1] noted, "Mixed Scandinavian 14 Coin Lot, Norway 24 Skilling 1853, 10 Ore 1874, 1889, 25 Ore 1876, Krone 1882, 2 Kroner 1902. Sweden 1 Ore 1877, 1878, 5 Ore 1877(two pieces), 10 Ore 1876, 1881, 25 Ore 1880, 50 Ore 1875. Grades are Fine-XF. A lot that needs careful study." This type was minted 1874-1900. This subtype with a large obverse legend but small crowns on the reverse, was issued 1877-80. It is fairly common in circulated condition.

Recorded mintage: 1,590,000 (KM 734 and KM 745).

Specification: 2 g, bronze, 16 mm diameter.
