This specimen was part of lot 23262 in Heritage sale 3010 (Boston, August 2010), which sold for $503.70. The catalog description[1] noted, "Mixed Scandinavian 14 Coin Lot, ...Sweden ...5 Ore 1877(two pieces), ...Grades are Fine-XF. A lot that needs careful study." This type was minted 1874-1900. This subtype with a small obverse legend was issued 1874-89. The type is fairly common but this date is scarce.

Recorded mintage: 514,000.
