This specimen was lot 31237 in Heritage sale 3076 (Long Beach, CA, September 2019), where it sold for $780. The catalog description[1] noted, "Canada. New Brunswick. Victoria bronzed Proof 'Bust / Ship' Penny Token 1854 PR62 Brown NGC. Nearly matte in appearance, displaying patches of midnight blue tone that weave through the otherwise red-brown surfaces. From the Doug Robins Collection." This type was accompanied by KM 2 (half penny token).
Recorded mintage: 432,000.
