This specimen was lot 30702 in Heritage sale 3073 (Chicago, April 2019), where it sold for $900. The catalog description[1] noted, "New Brunswick. Victoria bronzed Proof Bust / Ship 1/2 Penny Token 1854 PR63 Brown NGC. Toned to a clay red, with highlighting charcoal accents visible along the devices. From the Doug Robins Collection." This type, accompanied by a penny token, is available in circulated condition but rather expensive in choice condition.

Recorded mintage: 864,000 plus a few proofs.
