This specimen was lot 30701 in Heritage sale 3073 (Chicago, April 2019), where it sold for $1,860. The catalog description[1] noted, "New Brunswick. Victoria bronzed Proof Bust / Ship 1/2 Penny Token 1843 PR64 Brown NGC. Unmistakably Proof, exhibiting needle-sharp detail amidst fields blessed with iridescent cabernet tones. From the Doug Robins Collection." This type, accompanied by a penny token, is available in circulated condition but rather expensive choice.

Recorded mintage: 480,000 plus a few proofs.
