This specimen was lot 5667 in Sincona Auction 102 (Zürich, October 2025), where it sold for 950 CHF (about US$1,432 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ. Zürich. Stadt und Kanton. Halbdukat 1734, Zürich. Vorzüglich. (Switzerland, canton of Zürich, half ducat of 1734, Zürich mint. Extremely Fine.)"
This type was struck 1718-67 along with a quarter (Fr-488a), single (Fr-486a) and double ducat (Fr-485a).
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specification: 1.75 g, 0.986 fine gold, this specimen 1.71 g.
