Sincona sale 20, lot 2998

This specimen was lot 2998 in Sincona sale 20 (Zürich, October 2014), where it sold for CHF 200 (about US$251 including buyer's fees). The catalog description^[1] noted, "1/4 Zecchino o. J. Selten. Fast sehr schön-sehr schön. (quarter zecchino without date, rare, very fine or better.)" Most quarter ducats are much rarer than their contemporary ducats but this one is fairly common.
