This specimen was lot 2998 in Sincona sale 20 (Zürich, October 2014), where it sold for CHF 200 (about US$251 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "1/4 Zecchino o. J. Selten. Fast sehr schön-sehr schön. (quarter zecchino without date, rare, very fine or better.)" Most quarter ducats are much rarer than their contemporary ducats but this one is fairly common.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specification: .875 g, 0.986 fine gold, .028 troy oz AGW, this specimen 0.81 g.
Catalog reference: Montenegro 2233. Paolucci p. 115,4. Fr-1360.
