This type was struck at Lima 1841-56; the complete span of Peru standing liberty one reales runs 1826-56. Assayer MB is recorded for 1838-58. The date is listed in the SCWC as common, tho all Peruvian minors are scarcer in nice condition than the catalog values would indicate. It was legal tender in the United States until 1857 for 12½¢.
