This specimen was lot 33856 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it sold for $360. The catalog description[1] noted, "Gustaf V Specimen 2 Kronor 1949-TS SP65 PCGS. A lovely Specimen striking with only minute marks and just slightly hazy surfaces which have maintained significant reflectivity." This type was issued 1942-50 and is common in all grades. This represents a debasement from the prior type (KM 787), which was 15 g, 0.800 fine silver.

Recorded mintage: 331,715.

Specification: 14 g, 0.400 fine silver, .178 troy oz ASW, 31 mm diameter.
