Gutes sehr schön'' (kingdom of [[France]], Louis XV, 1715-74, gold louis of the hair ribbon of 1770, Paris mint. Good very fine)." This type was struck 1740-71 at all the mints of France. Most dates are rare; this one is fairly common. Production was entirely dependent on the delivery of bullion to the mint and most mints operated only part time.
