This specimen was lot 5015 in Sincona sale 83 (Zürich, May 2023), where it sold for 325 CHF (about US$435 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "SWITZERLAND Waadt/Vaud, 1/2 Batzen 1809, Lausanne. Sehr selten in dieser Erhaltung. FDC. Prachtvolle Erhaltung (Very rare in this condition, Uncirculated, Magnificent condition)."
