This specimen was lot 2838 in Goldberg sale 109 (Los Angeles, January 2019), where it sold for $180. The catalog description[1] noted, "Poland. 2 Zlote, 1836-MW. Nicholas I of Russia. Bright white luster. PCGS graded About Uncirculated Details (Cleaned)." Despite Russian promises of autonomy, the czar found the Poles to be the most obstreperous of all his subjects. Major rebellions occurred in 1831 and 1863. This type is listed for 1834-41 and has two denominations, two zlotych for Poland and thirty kopeks for Russia. Coinage for Poland ceased in 1841 and regular Russian issues introduced.
