This specimen was lot 2908 in Stephen Album sale 37 (Santa Rosa, CA, June 2020), where it sold for $101.15. The catalog description[1] noted, "BRITISH INDIA: George V, 1910-1936, 1 anna, 1919 (b), NGC graded MS63." This one anna was struck at the Bombay mint as part of a type struck 1912-30, 1933-36. The denomination was introduced in 1906 and struck until the end of the Raj in 1947.
Recorded mintage: 122,795,000 + proofs.
Specification: 3.8 g, copper nickel, 21 mm diameter.
