This specimen was lot 646 in Stack's "Vermuele, Ward & Mexico Maxico" sale (New York, January 2010), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMAN STATES. BAMBERG. Bishop Franz Conrad von Stadiun-Thannhausen, 1753-1757. Ducat, 1753. Homage of the Bishopric. Bust l. in clerical garb. Rv. Seven-fold Arms under five crests, Chronogram date forms part of the legend Astrae Longos ConCeDat RegIMInIs Annos: 'May the Stars Allow Long Years (of Reign).' Both sides of this late Bamberg issue show flashing prooflike fields, obverse displays minuscule field tics. MS-62 PL (NGC)." The SCWC mentions this as a one year type, along with KM 121, KM 135 and KM 147, each issued on the occasion of the coronation of a new bishop.
