"BAMBERG, BISTUM, Adam Friedrich von Seinsheim, 1757-1779. Dukat 1757, Nürnberg, auf die Huldigung der Stadt Bamberg. GOLD. RR Vorzüglich. (Germany, bishopric of Bamberg, Adam Frederick of Seinsheim, 1757-79, ducat of 1757, Nuremberg mint, on the homage of the city of Bamberg. Very rare, extremely fine.)"

Of the seven bishops who ruled Bamberg in the eighteenth century, three (including von Seinsheim) were also bishops of neighboring Wurzburg. While this was the case, few coins were issued for Bamberg. This ducat is rare.
