This specimen was lot 73626 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, June 2021), where it sold for $55. The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "[[Uganda|UGANDA]]. 10 Cents, 1968. PCGS Genuine--Cleaned, Unc Details Gold Shield. Despite the noted light cleaning, this specimen nevertheless captures the eye through some deep hues of cobalt and burgundy. Ex: Kings Norton Mint Collection." This type was struck intermittently 1966, 1970-75 and no dates are rare.
