This specimen was lot 838 in Jean Elsen sale 141 (Brussels, June 2019), where it sold for €130 (about US$172 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BELGIQUE, Royaume, Léopold Ier (1831-1865), Cu 1 centime, 1858. Avec trait sous CENT. Rare. Très Beau à Superbe. (kingdom of Belgium, Leopold I, 1831-65, copper one centime of 1858, with dash under CENT. Rare, Very Fine - Extremely Fine.)"

A variety (KM 1.3) exists without the dash below "CENTS".

Recorded mintage: 916,441, a better date.

Specification: 1.8 g, copper, 17 mm diameter, plain edge.
