This specimen was lot 25172 in Heritage sale 3016 (Orlando, FL, January 2012), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "Carl XV gold Carolin - 10 Francs 1868, MS66 NGC. The type was struck 1868-72 but was replaced by the gold ten kronor in the reform of 1873.
Recorded mintage: 33,000.
Specification: 3.22 g, 0.900 fine gold, .0933 troy oz AGW.
