This specimen was lot 56384 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Pittsburgh, PA, August 2023), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "INDIA. Baroda. Paisa, VS 1949 (1892). Sayaji Rao III (under Victoria as Empress). PCGS MS-64 Red Brown. Tied for the finest certified example by PCGS. From the Nicholas Fritz Collection." This type was struck VS 1941, 1948-50 and has a very low catalog value. Sayaji Rao III (r. 1875-1939) was the twelfth maharaja of Baroda.

Specification: about 7.5 g, copper, 24 mm diameter.
