The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "ITALY | [[Italy, Naples & Sicily|Naples / Sicily]], Ferdinando II. 1830-1859. 20 Grana 1859, Napoli. Good extremely fine. Minor adjustment marks." The auctioneers wrongly catalogued this as an issue of Ferdinand II when it is an issue of Francis II. This type was struck 1859 only just before the unification of Italy terminated all the local coinages. The king went into exile and died in 1894, while the Naples mint continued in operation until 1866.
