This specimen was lot 1729 in Stephen Album sale 38 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2020), where it sold for $273.70. The catalog description[1] noted, "NAPLES & SICILY: Francesco II, 1859-1861, 2 tornesi, 1859, choice example with cartwheel luster, rare in this grade, PCGS graded MS64 RB." This one year type is fairly common. Francesco's brief reign was terminated by the unification of Italy. He went into exile and died in 1894, while the Naples mint continued in operation until 1866.
