This specimen was lot 3061 in UBS sale 76 (Basel, Switzerland). This type is catalogued in the SCWC as a cruzado novo, worth 400 or 480 réis, depending on which side of the devaluation you stand. It was struck in Lisbon 1718-48 and all dates are much scarcer than the catalog indicates.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specification: 1.07 g, 0.917 fine gold, .031 troy oz AGW, 14 mm diameter.
