Stack's Bowers May 2024 Collector's Choice sale, lot 33040

This specimen was lot 33040 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, May 2024), where it sold for $192. The catalog description[1] noted, "AUSTRALIA. 8 Dollars, 2013-P. Perth Mint. Elizabeth II. NGC PROOF-70 Ultra Cameo. As perfect as one could get in terms of technical grade and eye appeal. The high rel[ief] and concave bust side, make the image reflect with the NGC holder in the image. With felt bag and COA # 0310." This koala series had a different reverse for each year and was struck in multiple sizes and metals.

Specification: 155.55 g, 0.999 fine silver, 100 mm diameter, 5 troy oz silver.
