Sincona sale 47, lot 2927

This specimen was lot 2927 in Sincona sale 47 (Zürich, May 2018), where it sold for 3,000 CHF (about US$3,600 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"SWITZERLAND, Schwyz, Gulden 1785. Rautenrand. Selten in dieser Erhaltung. Vorzüglich-FDC. (canton of Schwyz, gulden of 1785. Rare in this quality, Extremely fine-uncirculated.)"

Altho the SCWC states that three gulden = one thaler, the weight of this specimen is closer to two-fifths of a thaler.
