The first specimen was lot 5589 in Sincona sale 4 (Zürich, October 2011), where it sold for 2,400 CHF (about US$3,193 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ Luzern Dukat 1741. Gekröntes, von zwei wilden Männern flankiertes Wappen. Rv. Jahreszahl und Inschrift auf Kartusche. Rv. min. Prägeschwäche. Vorzüglich (Switzerland, canton of Luzerne, ducat of 1741. Obverse: two wild men of the forest support the crowned city arms; reverse: date and city name in cartouche.
