This specimen was lot 2274 in Sincona sale 43 (Zürich, October 2017), where it sold for 425 CHF (about US$507 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"ITALY | Genova, Dogi Biennali, 1528-1797 1/2 scudo stretto 1676. Selten. Gutes sehr schön. Leicht justiert. (republic of Genoa, biennial doges, 1528-1797, half scudo of 1676. Rare, Good very fine, Minor adjustment marks.)"
This rare type was struck 1638-56, 1661-1700, 1704-21. It accompanied the scudo stretto (Dav-3901).
