This specimen was lot 425 in Sedwick Treasure Auction 26 (Winter Park, FL, November 2019), where it sold for $130.90. The catalog description[1] noted, "Mexico City, Mexico, cob 1 real, 1731F. Attractive VF with full date and oMF, vibrant rainbow toning, partial shield and nearly full cross, small natural edge split." The silver cobs were debased from 0.931 fine to 0.917 fine in 1728. They are not rare but very scarce with legible dates.
