This specimen was lot 1395 in Steve Album Auction 51 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2025), where it sold for $420. The catalog description[1] noted, "NEPAL: Birendra Bir Bikram Shah, 1972-2001, AR 1000 rupees, VS2045 (1988), Wildlife Series - Snow Leopard, contains 5 troy ounces of pure silver, with COA of issue, PCGS graded Proof 69 DCAM." This NCLT was struck at Singapore.
Recorded mintage: 5,000 proofs.
Specifications: 155.5 g, 0.999 fine silver, 65 mm diameter, 5 troy oz ASW.
