This specimen was lot 71207 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, October 2020), where it sold for $384. The catalog description[1] noted, "BULGARIA. 2 Leva, 1913. Vienna Mint. Ferdinand I. PCGS MS-63 Gold Shield. A brilliant and prooflike coin with deeply reflective fields and frosty devices. Patches of peripheral russet toning add to the eye appeal." This type was struck 1912-13 and 1916. It was accompanied by ten and fifty stotinki and one lev.
Recorded mintage: 500,000.
