This specimen was lot 71209 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, October 2020), where it sold for $132. The catalog description[1] noted, "BULGARIA. Lev, 1913. Vienna or Kremnica Mint. Ferdinand I. PCGS MS-62 Gold Shield. A well struck Lev with full satiny luster and splashes of russet toning." This type was struck 1912-13, 1916. It was accompanied by ten and fifty stotinki and two leva.

Recorded mintage: 3,500,000.

Specification: 5 g, 0.835 fine silver, .133 troy oz ASW, 23 mm diameter.
