The first specimen was lot 13398 in Ponterio sale 177 (Chicago, August 2013), where it sold for $999. The catalog description[1] noted, "SCOTLAND. Groat, ND (1526-39). NGC VF-35. James V (1513-42). From the Demarete Collection." The second specimen was lot 1051 in Jean Elsen sale 148 (Brussels, September 2021), where it sold for €850 (about US$1,205 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
