This specimen was lot 1787 in Künker sale 352 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €10,000 (about US$13,917 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BAYERN, KONIGREICH, Ludwig I. 1825-1848. Dukat 1830. Isargold. GOLD. RR Leicht justiert, winz. Kratzer, vorzüglich-Stempelglanz. Erworben 1952 bei der Firma Julius Jenke, München. Die Rückseitendarstellung dieses Dukaten ist aus dem 18. Jahrhundert übernommen worden. Sie lehnt sich an römische Vorbilder an.
