This specimen was lot 32490 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, May 2024), where it sold for $3,840. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Platinum 5 Pounds Piefort, 2015. Llantrisant Mint. Elizabeth II. NGC PROOF-69 Ultra Cameo. Commemorating the queen as the longest-reigning British monarch. One of the first 25 struck, this nearly-flawless example is surpassed in the NGC census by just five other specimens."
